Why AI literacy is now a legal duty
Article 4 of the EU AI Act requires providers and deployers of AI to ensure their staff, and anyone operating AI on their behalf, have a sufficient level of AI literacy for their role. It has applied since 2 February 2025. Running this program, and keeping the completion records, is a direct way to demonstrate it. This is compliance support and staff education, not legal advice.
